As a former Level-1 Judge, he held judging cards in various breeds and officiated competitions in halter, western pleasure, English, equitation, reining, trail, and more. His deep knowledge, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence continue to make him a trusted leader in the equestrian community.

Kim Matthias brings over 30 years of experience in the horse show industry and plays a vital role as the Operations Manager at Matthias Performance Horses. She oversees the day-to-day management of more than 40 horses, handling breeding programs, healthcare, show records, and documentation. Her expertise in breeding and horse care has produced numerous regional and national-level champions, solidifying her reputation for excellence in the equestrian world. In addition to her role at Matthias Performance Horses, Kim serves as the head of the Iowa Equestrian Team for middle and high school riders, helping develop young talent and fostering a strong foundation for future equestrians.
